Hans Wegner Dining Chair
Shaker Dining Table by Børge Mogensen

Danish Vintage Furniture

There is a good reason why Danish Vintage Furniture is in high demand. The most famous Scandinavian Designers from the 1950s and 1960s came from Denmark.

The minimalist, functional and elegant furniture from the likes of Børge Mogensen, Grete Talk, Hans Wegner, Finn Juhl, Arne Vodder, Ib Kofod-Larsen, Johannes Andersen and others, are still a great addition to any interior.

We have a large collection of Danish coffee tables, sideboards and dining chairs that show the unique style of this period. Our personal favorites are the tambours sideboard by Arne Vodder and the PP203 chairs by Hans Wegner.

Arne Vodder

Arne Vodder (born in 1926), is one of the most recognized designers from the Danish Midcentury-modern period. He was very much influenced by Finn Juhl in his early career. The quality of his work is outstanding; the tambour doors of the sideboard that we sell, are spectacular. During his s career he worked for France & Son, Fritz Hansen and Sibast Mobler. Our favorite Arne Vodder item is the sideboard with tambour doors.

Hans Wegner

Hans Wegner (born in 1914) was a Danish furniture designer that is probably most famous for its 'wishbone chair'. He started his career in Copenhagen at the Technological Institute. His craftsmanship soon became a success and he started to collaborate with well-known designers like Arne Jacobsen. His style is both minimalistic and elegant and still used in many interiors. Our favorite Hans Wegner item is the PP203 chair.
