A table that doubles as a sculpture and vice versa is perhaps the best way to describe this special item. It seems to be moving and standing still at the same time. Contradictions characterize this item and will above all demand attention in the room.

Design

The frame consists of 18 pine wood parts, all of which consist of two parts that are attached to each other by means of visible box joints. All parts are at an obtuse angle and are connected to each other by means of two locking pins. A robust construction that also demands attention in an undeniable manner. Because the legs are aligned in this way, a kind of corridor is created with the wings on either side. The light shines through and as a result shadows are given free rein.

On the frame rests a glass top that relates pleasantly to the rest and always offers the opportunity to view the special work on which it rests. Back to the frame for a final remark. A special detail is the use of ash veneer to create accents that should act as a counterbalance to the abundance of pine.

Condition

The condition of the table is good taking into account the usual signs of wear that have been accumulated over the years. This includes scratches, discolorations and dents."

This bar is amazing. Beautiful and exactly as described. A custom crate (which was a work of art itself) was built in order to ship the piece to the U.S. The bar arrived in perfect condition without a scratch. I will say that take the crate apart was not easy and was a two-person job. But worth it in the end
