At first glance, this design from the 1980s by Oswald Matthias Ungers is quite straightforward. It consists of a set of four corner parts of which all sides are exactly sixty-nine centimeters. Hence the not-unlikely name of 'Cubo'.

The Sfera variant certainly exists and has a cylindrical back that exactly matches the square variant. But when the versatility of combinations with specific these parts is discovered, a world opens up for you and the simple square shapes seem to reinforce each other entirely. You can therefore arrange the parts in such a way that they become two benches, for example, or you can create a corner with them, or a cross. Because they are in fact all corner parts, a variety of combinations are possible that are a real feast for the eyes.

In addition, no compromises have been made in the choice of materials. The cherry wood veneer is subtly inlaid on the back and armrests with a hardwood trim that also accentuates the square shapes. The seats consist of a very comfortable foam that is covered with beautifully luxurious and high-quality black aniline leather. All original. There too, the stitching is also square and again completely in sync with the design. The Milanese label Sawaya & Moroni is just about the rock 'n roll design brand there is. This relatively early design is one where it has been shown that an eclectic result can be achieved with an everyday form that does not seem to age.

The parts have minimal signs of wear such as superficial scratches and stains.
