Sideboard in the Style of Maxime Old in Mahogany, Brass, and with a Marble Top. It has a drawer in the middle and shelves behind the left and right doors. We especially love the design of the legs and feet with the brass details. This impressive sideboard, in the style of Maxime Old, has quite a story behind it. It has been attributed to the famous French designer Maxime Old for decades, even being part of the official book (Yves Badetz, "Maxime Old, architect-decorator", model reproduced p. 87.). However, in a later edition of the book it became clear that this is probably not by Maxime Old, but somebody that was either close to him or got very inspired by his work.

This bar is amazing. Beautiful and exactly as described. A custom crate (which was a work of art itself) was built in order to ship the piece to the U.S. The bar arrived in perfect condition without a scratch. I will say that take the crate apart was not easy and was a two-person job. But worth it in the end
