Impressive Amsterdam School Bar Cabinet by J.Th. Drilling, The Netherlands 1920's. This cabinet with mahogany and coromandel is a historic piece with the signature of the Firma Drilling on the keys.
The cabinet has two doors with facetted glass and three doors and drawers in the middle. The cabinet is rich in decoration with a lot of the Amsterdam School details. It is in good condition with normal signs of age.
The Drilling furniture factory was situated on the Rozengracht in Amsterdam from 1917. An interior as depicted on the picture from the book, that shows the exact same cabinet, costed about 600 guilders.
